STEP 2. Choosing a company. Sending information

After you contact us, we will email you a list of available companies. Also, we will offer to form a new
company specifically for you (with your desired name and other preferences).

After choosing one of the options, you will be asked to send the information about the purchaser:
  • if a purchaser is a natural person – we need a copy of his valid passport, residence address and contact data – email and phone No.;
  • if a purchaser is a company – at the beginning we need its name, code and registration address. After receiving this, we will send you the full list of documents and information we need.
BusinessLT guarantees 100 percent confidentiality. We take all the responsibility and oblige not to use the data we had received in any other purpose except for the formation and/or purchase of your company.

STEP 3. Payment. Meeting at the notary.

Company purchase documents must be signed at the notary. After we get all the required information from you, we prepare company purchase documents within 1 day, and discuss with you when you can come to Vilnius, Lithuania to sign the purchase documents at the notary.

Also, we send you the preinvoice for our services which must be covered by bank transfer in full prior to our meeting at the notary. We are not able to accept cash, credit card, Paypal, or any other type payment except the bank transfer.

STEP 4. Signing and registration

At the agreed date and time we sign company purchase documents at the notary. The procedure takes up to 1 hour. BusinessLT covers all the notary fees as they are already included in company price. After this, we register new owner and director in the Register of Legal Entities. This takes up to 5 workdays.

STEP 5. Finalizing

After the new owner and director is registered, we pass all the original documents to the purchaser. This can take place at our office in Zveju str. 14A, Vilnius, or we can post them to the purchaser ‘s residence address (postage fees apply).


Company purchase agreement shall be prepared in Lithuanian and English. However, upon client ‘s request all the documents can be translated into English or any other language desired by a client (translation fees apply, duration – up to 3 days).

Upon client ‘s request company documents can be apostilled (additional fees apply, duration – up to 2 days).

After the company is purchased, the new director is free to go to the bank to confirm his rights for using the existing bank account of the company or open a new bank account. BusinessLT can offer consultation and assistance during those procedures.

In order to avoid unlawful acts or misunderstandings, BusinessLT highly recommends to hire a bookkeeper or sign an agreement with a bookkeeping company. BusinessLT can offer this type of service, however, the client is not obliged to purchase those services from us by any means.
